2005 FTTH to all of homes with 70% - 75% uptake 2009 shifted to commercial subscription primarily for businesses and hospitals. Main objective was to break even through: fiber and conduit leasing; Internet support services, data center After 2009, had econ dev goals to increase 1) hospitality facilities, 2) ability to address transient population and 3) financial health of Loma Linda existing medical facilities, and 4) number of healthcare facilities.

FTTH was getting 50% take rate for Internet connection only. When next 3000 houses begin construction, will increase residential subscribers. Meeting break even goal with small expansions Brought in over 1500 new jobs and $500,000 in property taxes by one clinic. Healthcare institutions now have 30,000 employees, a 20% increase since 2009. For every house there is a hospital bed. Two new hotels directly due to network, $600,000 to city in hospitality taxes.
